After my exhausting day on Thursday, I had a great night’s
sleep and had a fabulous day on Friday!! I got a lot of things done at work,
and best of all, I really started to build a connection with my 1:1 person. She
has the tendency to be a very negative person, but I got her so distracted with
activities and my charming personality ;) that she laughed a lot and had a
great time and was barely negative! Last night I met my other housemate and she
was nice (and has a car she is willing to use with us!), so we all drove into town to get groceries.
Last night I was so wound up from my awesome day so after I
got a shower, I put my hair in pincurls and read for a while. I was planning on
sleeping in this morning, but my body said “Rise and Shine!” at 6:30, so I just
laid in bed and read. Around 9 I scooped my breakfast of strawberries and
pineapple into a bowl and started walking towards town. I went to a thrift
store I’ve been wanting to explore! I found a conglomeration of delightful
items: A Star Wars t-shirt for Caleb, a bunch of books, leopard print American
Eagle Flats, and an owl purse. I just love thrifting! I find so many unique
items!
(I do not plan on wearing the shoes and the purse together! lol)
Then I went to the library for a couple of hours to work on
some planning for work. I picked up a few more library books and then came back
to the house.
Since I got a good chunk of work done, I’m ready to relax
the rest of the weekend! Tonight we might watch a movie and chill.
In the
morning I’m planning on heading to church, and leaving a little early to meet
up with Chelsea and take the bus to Fairchild Air Force Base to see my FIRST.
EVER. AIRSHOW!!!!! I am so excited!! I love airplanes/jets/flying…the whole
caboodle! The Air Force Thunderbirds will be there too! We’ve been hearing
planes fly over the house a lot the past week, like VERY low. Including the
sonic sounding boom of the military jets that I just love! And we JUST found
out yesterday that there was an airshow. One of our coworkers told us. We
looked at each other and were like “We’re going!” While I respect and am so grateful for all of the branches of the service, I absolutely love the Air Force! If I ever joined the services, I'd join the USAF and train to become a pilot. (I'd like to become a pilot anyways, but we'll see.)
So I’m super, duper excited and plan on taking lots of
pictures!!
