Pop!
Of bubble wrap under feet
Of a cherry tomato in the mouth
Of a can of blackberry mandarin sparkling water opening

Splash! 
Of milk into the mug for my iced coffee
Of a toddler hand into any water she can find
Of a synchronized cannonball into the camp pool

Wooosh!
Of a onesie-clad bottom going down the slide
Of a turning library book page
Of air leaving the lungs as one relaxes around a campfire

Pitter-patter!

Of rain on the porch roof

Of the heart when observing loves

Of sandaled feet traversing trails and sidewalks

Rustle!
Of brushing against tent walls
Of the sheets right before drifting to sleep
Of the shower curtain after washing summer feet off

Buzz!
Of our honey bees in their hive
Of our phones vibrating with plans
Of caffeine and conversations with friends

Crunch! 
Of crisp homegrown green peppers 
Of pretzels and on-the-go snacks
